We had a brilliant AGM and a shiny new committee will be taking over from the 1st January

And there is stil some hockey happening 

On Saturday our combined mens teams entered two teams into a Hockey fiesta, and one of those teams, the maroon team came 3rd.  The winning team were mainly the Singapore national team and our team comprised of players from our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI teams -so not a bad effort from us Tornados at all.

Good evening Tornados,

Our Annual General Meeting is this Friday, 27th November 2015 at 8pm!  

We can't wait to see you all in great numbers at Boomerang Boat Quay (2nd floor). 

1) Please have a look at our list of nominees for the committee members and club representants positions. Attached: the list, including the description of duties. You have until Friday, 12pm (noon) to send me your nomination.

**TO ALL NOMINEES, make sure you read the descriptions of duties; you will also need to have a proposer and a seconder for your nomination ready for the AGM (please send me the names before). If a nomination proposer / seconder cannot be present at the AGM, they need to personally send me an email stating the nomination, along with their proxy letter.***

2) You can designate a member as your proxy to vote on your behalf, if you cannot be present Friday.
For your vote to be valid, you must personally return me the completed form (see attached) by email by Friday, 12pm (noon): c.vuille.lessard@gmail.com

THC - Roger's Update -23rd November

Morning Tornados,

What a brilliant Agro cup we had, with over 70 players attending including some of our newest recruits.
Well done to Dane for organising and well done to the red white and blue team -UK 1 who won the final against a very strong ANZA team.  

Still more hockey happening this week and our Annual General Meeting this Friday!

Mens 2s 3s 4s Friendly vs SCC(2s 3s &4s)  8.pm-10 pm Evans Road 

Ladies 2s friendly vs Scc 2nd XI  8-10  Delta 

As there is no club training this week, mens and ladies 1s are welcome to come along to the above friendly matches but be aware we are playing the lower SCC teams.  

Saturday 28th November

Mens Fiesta Hockey Village 8am -4pm
We are entering two teams of players from the mens 2s 3s and 4s. 
If you have not signed up for this event and want to play let your captain know

Hi Tornados I trust all the preparation for team outfits is well under way and everyone is looking forward to a fantastic day out! Below are some details for the day to take notice of: Cost for the day: $30 Starting Time: 11:00am (first game will start at this time so please be on time) Food: Lunch will be provided Drinks: Peroni, Pure Blonde and Magners will be available at $4 per drink After party:  Of course! THC - Roger's Update -16th November

The leagues are finished but the AGRO Cup is coming! The ladies and mens 1st teams played their last league games of the season on Saturday. The ladies lost 2 nil to the eventual league winners, SCC but if we had had a couple more players we could have easily upset the league placings. The mens 1s had their first official win, easily beating Khalsa 3-1. Debuts for two new players Chris Lee and Andrew Gilmer. Welcome to Tornados.  The mens 2s played a friendly vs Hollandse and beat them 4-1- great result    Agro cup 21st November, Hockey Village, 88 Boon Lay Place  This is one of the many spectacular Tornados traditions,where we forget our modern multi national perspective and replace it with pride in our national origins and play for our countries in our 'national 'fancy dress.  Always a day to remember      Anyone who has not yet registered but wants to play in the Agro cup please contact Dane Giddey Dane.Giddey@maplesfs.com         This week   Monday Fitness 8-9pm Evans road running track    Ladies 2nd XI Friendly vs Hollandse 8pm,  Evans road       Tuesday   Mens 2s 3s 4s Friendly vs SCC 8.30-10 pm Evans Road  Club Training 8-10 pm DELTA  All welcome   Other Events  Annual General meeting Friday 27th November.
