Hey Tornados!
What a fabulous start to our social schedule! Plenty of fun!! A big round of applause to Phoebe for oraganising the evening.
The weekend was a busy one and in there was the Wooden shoe Charity Tournament. Unfortunately it was rained out in the afternoon but I heard the Friday night hangovers really inspired our teams through the morning. Thanks to those participating, afterall, it was for charity.

RESULTS
It was a hot weekend for Tornados and the results were unfortunately not going our way.. The mens 1s lost to the Jansenites in a hot game; Mens 2's suffered 5 goals to a very efficient short corner battery from Project Vault and the ladies 2's played a good game showing thier potential for the rest of the season going down only 1-0. Mens LIGA only had the one game last weekend, a good solid game from the Men's 4's unlucky to lose to JFA.

RESULTS
Mens 2's topped the games over the weekend with a nail biting thriller on the Saturday. 30 minutes into the first half the men were 3-0 down and the game looked to be a loss! However.. the men weren't having any of it.. spurred on by a great performance by Gary Lee, (MOTM) the men fought back scoring the winning goal on the buzzer to remain unbeaten in thier first two games of the season.
Not to be outdone the ladies also scored thier win on the buzzer after a tense and frustrating game. With majority of possession and after leading since early in the first half, the Tornados ladies struggled to get the ball in the net. Aiofe Orton finally saw home her second goal in the last dying seconds to get three points for the team.
In LIGA the mens 3's also struggled with sending the ball home, unlucky to walk away with a draw, after some misses. 
Mens 4's played well throughout the game unfortunately losing concentration in the late hours of Sunday night to lose in the last 10 minutes of the game.

In other competions our Mens masters team participated in the Masters Tournament last Saturday. They came up against some stiff competition. Unfortunately the men didn't place but it was said to be a good day.

RESULTS
What a weekend! The men's 2's re-enacted the Scotland v England match teaching the young SRC lads a lesson in hockey. The men's 1's had an exciting and passionate game in a close match against ORA. Cards were floating around like confetti for an entertaing game without the win unfortunately. The ladies 1's started slow.. like swimming in honey slow.. but got themselves together for the second half for a strong comeback win.
In LIGA the mens 3's stole a great win against the Dutch, which the Tornados club always will have applause for, and the mens 4's drew to PSRC with no commentator notes.
