RESULTS
Mens 2's topped the games over the weekend with a nail biting thriller on the Saturday. 30 minutes into the first half the men were 3-0 down and the game looked to be a loss! However.. the men weren't having any of it.. spurred on by a great performance by Gary Lee, (MOTM) the men fought back scoring the winning goal on the buzzer to remain unbeaten in thier first two games of the season.
Not to be outdone the ladies also scored thier win on the buzzer after a tense and frustrating game. With majority of possession and after leading since early in the first half, the Tornados ladies struggled to get the ball in the net. Aiofe Orton finally saw home her second goal in the last dying seconds to get three points for the team.
In LIGA the mens 3's also struggled with sending the ball home, unlucky to walk away with a draw, after some misses.
Mens 4's played well throughout the game unfortunately losing concentration in the late hours of Sunday night to lose in the last 10 minutes of the game.
In other competions our Mens masters team participated in the Masters Tournament last Saturday. They came up against some stiff competition. Unfortunately the men didn't place but it was said to be a good day.
