THC - DOH Update

All,
Please see the below update from Kris and myself re Tornadoes hockey.

Training.
·         First this is a formal communiqué to inform you all that there will be no training this week. The DOH team appologise if this has caused any inconvenience to anyone, however we shall continue to arm wrestle the octopus to get some better alignment with the current changing circumstances.
·         This is a result of a new booking system that is causing all clubs dramas at the moment and there has been a considerable last ditch effort in trying to secure alternative training venues for the Thursday night training to go ahead, alas this has also failed.
·         Please keep an eye on "team snap" as because of this change there may be some location changes between Delta and Senkang in the near future.
Men's 3's and 4"s
·         Keep an eye on your email in the next week as we will be chasing expressions of interest to play in the men's 3's and 4's. This will be controlled through Group Spaces.
·         While it is assumed that the Liga C and Liga D teams are playing, this may not be the case explicitly.
·         The men's 3's and 4's teams need to be submitted to the SHF by the end of this month and there is a fee to register which leads me to the next point…..
Hockey Fees.
·         Several emails have been sent around regarding fees, top ups etc. In terms of the DOH this means that the folk that are registering to play men's threes and fours need to pay the full hockey amount of $400 if they have not already.
·         Alternatively, those playing Liga that do not want to play 3's and 4's need to pay the $150 top up. This is for membership of the club and training (including ongoing training through the rest of the year.)
·         These payments can be made through the usual methods.
This will greatly help with the cash required to register the teams and prevent the treasurer from hitting the DOH's with a large curved stick.

Best Regards:

Team "DOH."
