Morning Tornados
Looks like everyone had a great Election holiday weekend. Some left the haze of Singapore but a good number stayed to play hockey at the Wooden Shoe tournamant on Saturday. Unfortunately the haze stopped all games on Sunday.
Our mens 1st team 'De Orkaan' ( Tornado in Dutch) won the wooden shoe in spectacular style with a golden goal in extra time, scored by captain for the day Remi Cheriex. Our favourite Catalan:Joan Capdevilapuig won man of the tournament ! The mens 2ds De Bitterballen won the plate(came 3rd ) and the ladies teams De Hutspot and De Stroopwafles came 3rd and 4th.
This week
We are back to our normal location- Delta, for training for the rest of September however we have friendly games for the mens 4s and, ladies 1s and 2s at Evans road this week
Monday Night Fitness 8-9pm Evans road- All welcome meet at the grandstand
Tuesday Ladies 2s friendly match vs SCC 7-8.30 meet at 6.30 Evans Road
Mens 4s friendly vs SCC 8.30-10 meet at 8pm Evand road
Club training/ friendly match mens 2s vs 3s 8-10 pm DELTA
Wednesday Mens 1st XI training (plus possible friendly match) DELTA
Friday Ladies 1s vs Jensenites 8pm Sengkang
HAZE protocol
We have decided that training will be called off if haze levels are at 150. We will send a message via facebook an hour before the start to confirm cancelation.
If any suffer from respiratory problems then you are advised not to train when levels are 100.
No games this weekend as the FI is dominating most of your time
