Morning Tornados
This weekend we said good bye to Kristina who, bye again to Alice (who will be back), happy birthday to Fishy and Jane and hello to yet more new Tornados players. Chloe, Clare, Maaike, Sam.
On the pitch, our mens 1s lost 3-1 to the Dutch but played really well but we just couldn't score, the Dutch GK is pretty good and 8ft tall. The ladies had yet another walkover as their oposition have pulled out of the league, the mens 3s won 2-1 in a very good match where we could have probaly scored 3 or 4 more( misses from....?) the mens 4s lost 4 nil against I suspect a very young ORA playing at teh hottest time of the day.
This week
Changes to our normal plans as Delta has been commandeered by the governement to hold Election Rallies
Monday Club Training 8-10pm Evans road- All teams except ladies 2s
Tuesday Ladies 2s friendly match vs SCC 7-8.30 meet at 6.30 Evans Road
Mens 3s friendly vs SCC 8.30-10 meet at 8pm
Saturday 12th Sept
Wooden shoe Tournament 8-30-5pm. If you' re not playing but want to, contact your captain to see if there are any spaces. If you want to watch spectators are welcome and it's usually a very good social affair too.
Sunday 13th Sept
Mens 3rd XI vs Tannebilles 4.30pm
Mens 1stXI vs SCC 6PM tbc
Ladies 1st XI vs SCC 6pm
