"10"

Ten Spartans of the Tornados First XI gave NTU a master class in possession hockey as their 5 man midfield controlled an exciting game at Seng Kang. The Ten-man THC took all 3 points in a well deserved 1-0 win.

Superior tactics from super-coach Richard outfoxed NTU as the Tornados famous spirit enabled the team to out-fight their youthful opponents.

An outstanding performance in le goal by Frenchy was entirely in keeping with the team's commitment and attitude that saw XP win MVP for a sterling effort on the left wing.

Neil's cross-field aerials were a constant threat as Joran galloped onto the ball and wobbled into the space created by a pacey Nick, whose tireless runs wore the defence ragged.

The defence were rock-solid again, with new boy John Clark showing why he was such an important mid-season signing as he linked up seamlessly with Sanjay and Rego.

In midfield, Matt P virtually came direct from the airport and overcame jetlag to put in his, now customary, stellar performance and Kamran proved Newton wrong as his perpetual motion machine only stopped when it came time for a well deserved chocolate milkshake after the game.

The Tornados now have a 3 week gap and restart on October 30th against SRC.
